Fishing in Rendalen
Around Brutrøa Gård you’ll find a rich variety of fishing waters and river stretches for fishing and fly fishing in Rendalen, Nord-Østerdalen and Innlandet — from quiet tributaries to waters with large trout, dedicated fly fishing zones and shared fishing-card areas covering much of Tynset and Rendalen. The season’s start and end vary from place to place, and there are countless opportunities for both rod and fly fishing nearby. Grayling and trout in Unsetåa
Finstadåa and Unsetåa hold native trout and grayling of various sizes, along with some fine migratory trout. The tributary Tysla is a shallow river with a light bed and native trout.

The 12 km fly-fishing zone is very well suited to fly fishing. The river is varied, with pools, rapids and slow-flowing stretches. It holds native trout and grayling, with some larger fish too.
